Welcome to my website!
I am a wife and a mom to an 8 year old boy and a 4 year old girl. My husband is an Aussie, we met nearly 20 years ago now, and we’ve been travelling ever since. Our adventures have taken us through the UK, Europe, the Caribbean, the USA, South Africa, Australia, the South Pacific, and Southeast Asia… with plenty more still on the horizon.
My background is in education. I taught middle and high school, and while I loved working with students, it didn’t take long for me to realize that the traditional path wasn’t aligned with the life I wanted to create. I was working long hours, feeling stretched thin, and despite doing everything “right,” I couldn’t see a future that gave me the freedom, flexibility, or income I truly desired.
That realization is what led me here.
I'm passionate about working with motivated men and women who want to create this level of freedom and flexibility in their own lives.
THE PROBLEM THAT LED ME HERE: I started my online business almost 10 years ago. At the time, I was an underpaid, overworked, and highly stressed teacher. I was also carrying tens of thousands of dollars in debt from my university years and couldn’t see how my income would ever create the lifestyle I wante
This business has allowed us to continue our passion for travel. In 2015 alone, we travelled to 12 countries and brought the business along with us. What I love most about my online business is that I can work from pretty much anywhere in the world, as long as I have a laptop, a phone, and an internet connection. I’ve run my business from sailboats, the back of taxi cabs, and airport lounges.
When I became a mom, I didn’t have to choose between my career and my family. Because I had already started building this business, I was able to step into motherhood without putting my ambitions on hold. Within 12 months of having my son, I doubled my teacher’s salary, and we travelled to 6 countries that same year.
A huge reason I continue to do what I do is for my kids. I want them to grow up seeing what’s possible, to experience the world, to think differently, and to understand that they get to design their own lives too.
WHAT WASN'T WORKING: After spending 6 years in university, I found myself in unstable teaching roles—covering contracts, sick leaves, and maternity leaves. There was no real sense of security, and I felt like my future was always in someone else’s hands. I knew I didn’t want to build my life that way.
i also looked at the veteran teachers around me - very little time off, little pay for the work involved, and reaching burn out.
I knew that there had to be a better way to build a life that included more freedom!
WHAT LED ME TO SUCCESS: In 2009, my husband introduced me to personal development. Books like Rich Dad, Poor Dad and The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People completely shifted my mindset—especially around money, time, and personal responsibility. Therein began my personal development journey. I couldn't get enough it and read personal growth books as often as I could get my hands on them.
Not long after, he sent me a link to a website similar to this one… and that moment changed everything. I was able to catch a glimpse into a life that I had only dreamed about..... travel, extended holidays, time with family and friends, and all within my life.
I jumped in with both feet and that was over 15 years ago now. I am forever grateful that I made the decision to back myself and jump out of my comfort zone into the world of online business.
